As a result a Belgian delegation of criminal investigators went to Spain to gather information. Spain never asked questions about Nabil Sayadi, a spokesperson of the Belgian Office of the Public Prosecuter said. Spain nor Belgium ever expressed any suspicion towards Sayadi, the same spokesperson of the Belgian Office of the Public Prosecuter, Ms. Lieve Pellens, stated.
